David Olan Rides in 500-Mile Bike Tour: Raises Over $5,000 for the Arthritis Foundation
In September, 2003, David Olan participated in the California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour, raising over $5,000 for the Arthritis Foundation.
The Arthritis Foundation’s California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour is a spectacular 500-mile, 8-day tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles. David Olan joined hundreds of others from across the state to raise money to help support research to find the cure and prevention of arthritis.
“Never in my life would I have thought I could do what I did. I feel so good about the ride and knowing that we did such an awesome thing for such a worthy cause,” said Olan.
The money raised from the tour will fund leading-edge research and quality of life programs for the 70 million Americans including 300,000 children that currently have arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation seeks to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
